I now regret that I didn't summon the courage to taste the tartar (Muskox tartar I believe?). My husband, Mike, thought that the tartar was the best dish. Thanks so much to Steve and Twyla for getting us all together, opening their house, employing their kids as mini-waiters and helpers, and for putting on a spread of incredible food and beverages. I eagerly await the recipe for Alleyox Stew (stew made with Alley Kat beer and muskox meat). I think my favorite dish was the mushu (caribou? muskox? I lost track), quickly followed by the smoked char on Tree Stone pizza and the caribou chops. But all was great!
