Local versus Organic

The “What to Eat for Dinner?” discussion seems to be going ever more mainstream these days. Check out Time magazine’s cover story “Eating Better than Organic”. I particularly was interested in the fact that Google, yes Google, has taken on the cause. It’s Cafe 150 food service outlets, ie. restaurants and cafeterias, serve only food originating within a 150-mile radius of its Mountain View, CA, “campus”. And these restaurants are free for the Google employees.

Maybe we should get Intuit or Dell, both with big headquarters here in Edmonton, to do something similar??
