CSA shareholders receive produce weekly for 12 weeks starting in the middle of July. Full shares (for a family of 4-5) or half shares (2-3 people) are available. Shareholders are encouraged to sign up for one weeding session and two picking/packing sessions during the season

Operation Fruit Rescue Edmonton

Volunteer organization of fruit owners and pickers, sign up fruit trees that you don’t have time to harvest and volunteers will come pick. 1/3 of the harvest goes to the tree owner, 1/3 to Edmonton Food Bank, and 1/3 to the volunteer pickers

Community Garden Network

Tipi Creek

Family farm growing organic vegetables, strawberries and herbs. Food is available through CSA or U-pick strawberries. Two members from each family involved with the CSA must make three commitments to help out on the farm. CSA runs May- September, U-Pick strawberries are available July and August.

Wednesday delivery to 15805 – 94A Ave. in West Edmonton. The pick-up time is from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. Farm pick-up (near Villeneuve) is also available on Tuesday night from 8:30 -9:30 PM.

Sparrow’s Nest Organics

CSA garden offering fresh vegetables throughout the summer. Members can select their share from the vegetables available that week. Sharers provide two days help at the farm (non-working shares are also available). CSA members also have the opportunity to partake in bulk food orders for other grocery items.

Members of the Edmonton community who have unused gardens donate them to On Borrowed Ground. CSA members pay a small fee in the Spring and then contribute manual labour each week in the gardens. Members receive produce weekly from the local gardens.

Smoky Valley Goat Cheese

Small scale production of traditional goat cheese and dairy products. There is a dairy facility on site, where the goats milk is made into yogurts, semi-soft cheeses and ripened chesses. CSA memberships are available starting in the fall of 2011.
